Few New York neighbourhoods are more hidden in plain sight than Carnegie Hill. At once under
the radar yet entirely front and centre, this rectangular enclave in the Upper East Side is a place
most have been to, perhaps without knowing it. The Guggenheim Museum, for example, is in
Carnegie Hill, on Fifth Avenue, as is the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum.
